Last week: Beat Wheeler 45-7. Roswell led 42-0 at halftime against a team that beat the Hornets in 2014. Sheldon Evans rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Last week: Beat South Gwinnett 38-3. Will Bearden completed only four passes, but each went for touchdowns and netted 258 yards. He had five attempts, his first a 71-yarder to Dylan Singleton just 20 seconds into the game. Archer led 35-0 at halftime. Last week: Beat Mountain View 42-0. Joe Thomas rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries as Mill Creek clinched a playoff berth out of Region 7. Last week: Beat Lowndes 38-19. QB Antonio Hamilton was 4-of-10 passing for 166 yards, and RB Brandon McMaster rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns and caught a 70-yard TD pass. Sam Jackson rushed for 183 yards on 15 carries and scored three second-quarter touchdowns on runs of 11, 1 and 73 yards to break open a game that was scoreless after the first quarter. McEachern held North Cobb to 121 yards, including minus-5 rushing, and recorded six sacks, three by Julian Rochester. QB Bailey Hockman passed for 157 yards and two touchdowns. DT Derrick Brown blocked a punt and scored a touchdown on a short run for a 16-0 lead in the fourth quarter. Gainesville was held to less than 200 yards of total offense. Last week: Lost to Glynn Academy 14-7. Ware was held to 37 yards of total offense in the first half, scored in the third quarter to take a 7-6 lead, but surrendered an 80-yard drive that proved fatal. Ware had won 34 consecutive games that count in region standings dating to 2010. The outcome left Ware, Glynn, Coffee and South Effingham with one loss in Region 3. Last week: Beat North Hall 49-0. Martin Mangram rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, and Anthony Grant ran for 102 and one score on 11 attempts. Buford held North Hall to 77 yards in total offense. Buford led only 14-0 at halftime but scored four third-quarter touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Monroe Area (2-4)

Last week: Beat Marist 24-14. St. Pius put together a six-play, 80-yard drive ending in Nkem Njoku's 5-yard run for a 17-14 lead with 2:36 left. The big play was a 62-yard pass from Reed Egan to Grant Hollomon. Garrett Gooden later intercepted a pass and returned it 27 yards to the Marist 4-yard line, setting up the clinching score, Holloman's 1-yard run. Next: Friday at Chamblee (2-4)

*7. (NR) Jonesboro (6-1)

Last week: Beat Spalding 21-9. Leading 14-2 in the fourth quarter, Jonesboro stopped Spalding on a fourth-and-goal from the 2-yard line. On the next play, TB Montralius Mosely broke off a 99-yard run for a 21-2 lead with 8:18 left. Mosely rushed for 206 yards on 16 carries, according to Crescent Buzz. Last week: Lost to St. Pius 24-14. Marist led in total yards 312-203 but committed two turnovers to St. Pius' none. QB Jack Dinges rushed for 119 yards. Linebackers Charlie Utsch and Paul Stanley had eight solo tackles each in an effort that held St. Pius to 110 yards rushing. Next: Friday vs. Grady (3-3)

Last week: Lost to Jonesboro 21-9. QB Naricuss Driver rushed for 98 yards but was stopped on a fourth-and-goal at the 1-yard line in the fourth quarter when Jonesboro led 14-2.
