Grovetown 21, Cross Creek 20

How the game was won: Visiting Cross Creek took a 13-0 lead after Jesse Marshall returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown and added a 7-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Grovetown got on the board with just 1:14 left in the half as Skylor Vance connected with Jarred Cox for a 20-yard touchdown. Cross Creek, which lost 42-0 to Grovetown last year, made it a two-score lead with 4:40 left in the third quarter as Devon Hicks punched in a 1-yard touchdown run. Vance answered with a 49-yard touchdown run with 3:12 left in the third quarter to cut Grovetown's deficit to 20-14. Grovetown finally took its first lead of the game with 4:45 left as Shiyear Woodbury punched in a game-winning 2-yard touchdown.
