Phil Jones, sports radio host

1. What do you enjoy most about your job? "Bringing high school football fans daily insight into the local programs around South Georgia."

2. Who is your favorite interview? "Rush Propst, Colquitt County. Rush is very straight-forward and doesn't shy away from tough questions. He will always shoot straight with you. Rush has done a lot for not only Colquitt County, but for high school football across time in South Georgia, as well."

3. What is the most memorable game that you've seen? "Colquitt vs Camden in a state quarterfinals playoff game, 2011 in Kingsland. In a game that went back and forth, Camden County scores a late TD to take a 31-24 lead with less than two minutes left. Colquitt County receives the kickoff and drives 80 yards, scoring a TD with a minute remaining to pull to within a point. Instead of kicking the extra point to tie the game, Packers head coach Rush Propst elects to go for two and converts to go up 32-31. Camden receives the kick with around 40 seconds left and moves the ball quickly to the Packers' 40-yard line, where, with no timeouts remaining and the clock ticking away, they rush the FG team and QB/P/K Brice Ramsey onto the field. With the clock running out, Ramsey pushes a desperation 60-yard FG attempt just wide right, giving Colquitt the win. Unbelievable."

4. Who is the best high school player that you've seen? "Ken Hobby, Tift County quarterback, 1978. He could throw a pass with either his right or left hand! He was ambidextrous."
