GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Steve Sims, Apalachee

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "The 2012 Norcross vs. Lovejoy state championship game and my first game as a head coach this year. Different outcomes!" [Sims was the offensive coordinator for Norcross's 2012 and 2013 championship teams. This is his first season as head coach of Apalachee.]

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "Keith Maloof. He is in the business to help kids grow up into better young men. He just also happens to be a heck of a football coach."

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "Too many kids standing around in practice."

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I would like to see the six-quarter rule replaced with a number-of-snaps rule. Something easy like, if a player plays more than 15 or 20 snaps in a varsity game, he cannot play JV that week. One play on a special teams counting as a full quarter of play is unfair. A kid who plays on kickoff once every quarter currently would only have two quarters on JV play left for the week. I think the kid should still have the whole JV game because he played only four plays."
