First power ratings of the season

St. Francis, Calhoun County boys and Wesleyan, Marion County girls hold the top spots

The season’s first power ratings are out. Here’s a look at each one. Remember, as is the case with all sports, the top 24 teams advance to the state playoffs.

Aquinas has faced Class AAAAAAA Wheeler, and Class AAAAAA Tri-Cities and Sprayberry – all ranked in the AJC Top 10. Landmark has faced Class AA Elbert County and Class AAA Dawson County, both ranked in the AJC Top 10.
