Daily Trivia: Who was Mary Persons, for whom the high school was named?

Mary Persons, ranked No. 4 in Class AAAA, began playing football in 1929 and now claims more than 600 victories. Who was Mary Persons, for whom the school was named? 1. An educator who founded a school for girls in Monroe County in 1902. 2. A Confederate widow who donated land for the first high school in the county and raised sons who became pillars of Monroe County. 3. A lawyer and the first Georgia woman to serve in the state legislature in 1923 and later a longtime Forsyth city clerk. 4. A surgeon most noted for her research on the medical condition of shock and blue baby syndrome. (Answer Monday)
