Five Georgia schools hired coaches in the offseason who previously were head coaches at those schools. They are Greg Ellis, Gordon Lee (coach in 1999-05); Troy Jones, Osborne (2005-09); Robby Robinson, McIntosh County Academy (2004-10); Buddy Sorrow, East Laurens (1994-2002); and Frank Vohun, Haralson County (2005-09). That doesn't include new Americus-Sumter coach Erik Soliday, who led Americus High to state titles in 2000 and 2001.
