Daily Trivia: Coaches who won state titles in two separate tenures at one school
Five Georgia schools hired coaches in the offseason who previously were head coaches at those schools. They are Greg Ellis, Gordon Lee (coach in 1999-05); Troy Jones, Osborne (2005-09); Robby Robinson, McIntosh County Academy (2004-10); Buddy Sorrow, East Laurens (1994-2002); and Frank Vohun, Haralson County (2005-09). That doesn't include new Americus-Sumter coach Erik Soliday, who led Americus High to state titles in 2000 and 2001. Which Georgia football coaches have won state titles in two separate tenures at their schools?
Answer to Monday's question: Benedictine (Class AA) and Mount Paran Christian (A private) won state titles for the first time in their histories in 2014.
