Note: The cutoff year of 1948 is used because it was the first season that the GHSA took full control of football statewide, making rules uniform and putting schools in regions and classes. Before that, the all-time biggest reversal of fortune was LaFayette's 40-0 victory over Cartersville in 1924. Cartersville had beaten LaFayette 90-0 in 1923.
