Whitewater, which opened in 2004, had never been shut out in its history until this month. Now, two teams have shut ut the Wildcats in consecutive weeks - East Coweta and Eagle's Landing Christian. Whitewater had a streak of 120 games of scoring. Something similar happened last year, when Carrollton's streak of 144 games without being shut out came to an end against Sandy Creek in the ninth game of the season. The next week, Carrollton was shut out again after going more than 10 years between shutouts. The state record for most consecutive games without being shut out belongs to Roswell at 191. The streak is active.
