Pacelli's Mark LeGree and Fayette County's Mike Davis have resigned this week.

LeGree, whose team improved to 4-6 this year from 0-10 in his first season, told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer that he found it challenging to manage middle-school, JV and varsity programs at a Class A school. He will remain at Pacelli as a teacher. LeGree is a Pacelli alumnus who became an All-America defensive back at Appalachian State and later made NFL and CFL rosters.

Davis, who announced his resignation Tuesday, had been at Fayette County for eight seasons. The Tigers haven't had a winning campaign since 2007 and finished 0-10 in 2018. Davis had been a head coach at two Florida high schools and coached at Clark-Atlanta before taking the Fayette job.
