N. Clayton, Cedar Grove in CFA Invitational

Class AAA powers North Clayton and Cedar Grove are two of the teams involved in Saturday’s Chick-fil-A Invitational Holiday Classic at Tucker High School.
The event involves 16 teams from Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee in a one-day extravaganza guaranteed to make please any basketball junky.
North Clayton (5-3), ranked No. 6 in Class AAA, opens the event at 10 a.m. against Class AAAAA Mays (6-6). North Clayton knocked Cedar Grove out of the rankings by beating the Saints last week.
Cedar Grove (5-4) will play Class AAAAA Rockdale County (6-6) at 2:30 p.m. Butler (5-2), another perennial AAA power, will play undefeated Osceola, Fla., at 11:30 a.m. Osceola 
The rest of the schedule features Tri-Cities vs. Meridian, Miss., at 1 p.m., Class AAAA No. 3 Lithonia vs. South Miami at 4 p.m., Columbia vs. Rutland at 5:30 p.m., Brainerd, Tenn., vs. Tucker at 7 p.m., and Glenn Hills vs. Class AAAAA No. 1 Miller Grove.
