Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy and Irwin County held on to their top rankings in the Class A Power Ratings. However, while Irwin is in the driver’s seat for being a No. 1 seed in the public school playoffs, ELCA will need some help.
Holy Innocents’ sits at No. 2 in the private rankings this week. However, if the Bears win out, which seems likely as they will be favored in their next three games, they will be the Region 5 champs, and therefore earn the top seed in the private school playoffs. In fact, ELCA could fall as low as the No. 6 seed if Savannah Country Day (Region 3), Holy Innocents (Region 5), Darlington (Region 6), Aquinas (Region 7), and Athens Academy (Region 8) all win region titles.
