Allatoona 41, Villa Rica 22: Junior tailback Russell Halimon rushed for four touchdowns for visiting Allatoona. Fullback Bryant Dallas added a rushing touchdown, and quarterback Connor Larson threw a touchdown pass to Zach Nichols. Allatoona safety Riley Webb intercepted a pass for the Buccaneers’ only forced turnover.

Druid Hills 22, Chamblee 14: Trevino Huff rushed for 107 yards on 20 carries in the Red Devils' victory. Senior quarterback Devante Jennings converted a crucial two-point attempt to give Druid Hills an 8-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Red Devils amassed 227 total yards in their victory.

East Paulding 42, North Paulding 10: The Raiders exploded for 21 first-quarter points and led 21-7 after the period. Holden Thompson recovered a muffed punt in the end zone. Running backs Tae Ray and Cody Long each ran for a score while quarterback Tyler Gordon tossed two touchdown passes. The East Paulding defense had five sacks and several quarterback hurries.

Flowery Branch 29, Chestatee 0: Nick Lance threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns for the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons before the half. Jeremiah Goss ran for a touchdown and caught a 63-yard pass en route to his second touchdown. Hayden Colee had a 29-yard touchdown pass after a Chestatee fumble to give the Falcons a 22-0 halftime lead. Cortez Davis added a 69-yard touchdown in the third.

Kell 42, Lassiter 35: Cameron Rosendahl found receiver Bryson Armstrong with 10 seconds remaining, then Itabari Mason rushed for a two-point conversion to give visiting Kell the 42-35 victory. Armstrong intercepted Lassiter’s desperation heave after the kickoff with no time left. Rosendahl also threw touchdown passes to Michael McCain and Derrick White, and rushed for a 1-yard score. Mason scored two touchdowns on the ground.

Loganville 28, Monroe Area 12: Loganville rode sophomore Daryl Giles, who rushed for 240 yards. Cody Mixon threw a touchdown to Jeffrey New to put Loganville up 14-12 after a wild scramble. Giles punched in the game-sealing 8-yard run with 1:30 left in the fourth after Josh Owen picked off a Jacob Olson pass.

Miller Grove 20, Pebblebrook 14: Host Miller Grove erased a 14-7 halftime deficit by outscoring Pebblebrook 13-0 in the second half. Junior quarterback Sedric Jefferson threw for three touchdowns including two to Jerico Carmichael and the game-winner to Brian Reed. Miller Grove’s Jonathan Mitchell hauled in a key interception with the score tied at 14 that set up Reed’s touchdown reception.

Morrow 27, Mt. Zion-Jonesboro 24: Quarterback Larry Hodenect led the way for visiting Morrow, tossing three touchdown passes while scoring one on the ground. Mt. Zion started strong in the second half, returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. A late 50-yard touchdown pass from Hodenect sealed the game for the visitors as the Mustangs improved to 1-1 on the season.

Riverwood 34, Holy Innocents' 3: The host Raiders used two touchdowns each in the second and third quarters to sprint away from Holy Innocents'. Marcus Rosser opened the scoring in the second quarter on a 65-yard run. Marvin Kinsey then caught a 48-yrd touchdowns pass from Rosser to extend the lead to 14-0. In the third quarter, Jelani Reed returned a punt 745 yards to make the score 24-3, then intercepted a pass and took it 28 yards for another score. Riverwood led 27-3 entering the final quarter.

Sequoyah 10 Etowah 34: Sequoyah started the game with a 10-minute drive only to get stopped at the one. Etowah drove 99 yards down the field and scored on a Robbie Knox 18-yard pass to Raishod Devezin. Bronson Rechsteiner added a touchdown reception in the first half. Scott Morgan, Devezin and Patrick Ferris all scored via the ground in the second half. Sequoyah’s lone touchdown came with 19 seconds left.

Stockbridge 33 Eagle's Landing Christian 3: After an ELCA field goal, Stockbridge ran off 33 unanswered points. Josh Amanfo scored on an interception for a touchdown. Artemus Mitchell broke off touchdown runs of 40 ad 25 yards. Marquez caught a 33-yard touchdown pass to balloon the lead to 20-3. Jamari Clark concluded the scoring on a 47-yard fumble return.
