There’s more to come, but a few quick notes from interviews from Georgia Tech’s post-practice media availability Monday morning.

1. A-back Tony Zenon continues to have a strong preseason. He certainly has the attention of coach Paul Johnson. "Tony's had a real good camp," he said. "I think that he's got the offense down and now he can use his quickness and speed. He's playing fast and he's had a really good camp."

2. Using special-teams coordinator Ray Rychleski to help out with the offensive line is working out well. A common way the line drills is for players to split up into groups of six or seven and rotate through drills led by offensive line coach Mike Sewak, graduate assistant Preston Pehrson and Rychleski. "We'll just sort of do a rotation," guard Trey Braun said. "That way, you don't have 20 guys going through one drill. You've got about seven guys at each drill and it's getting some pops, getting some snaps."

3. Quarterback Justin Thomas wore a gold jersey Monday, indicating he participated in all but contact drills in the full-pads practice. Thomas started the Saturday scrimmage but came up a little gimpy early on and was held out for precautionary reasons. Johnson said he "looked like 100 percent today."

FYI: Some of you were asking about the two different posting formats that we've been using. For reasons that probably aren't worth going into, the situation will have to stay as it is. The old (and largely less popular) format is part of posting software for content that goes in the paper, and the blog software (the one with the more popular content format) is for content that is online only. I wish we could switch it up - it would appear the preference for the blog commenting format is widespread - but at least for now it's not possible.
