In 2015, there were nearly 4,000 former Georgia high school football players in college football.

More than 50 of about 820 Georgia high school football players pledged on Signing Day, Feb. 3, 2016, to play in the ACC this fall.

Steve Slay, a Georgia High School Football Historians Association researcher, has made a hobby the past several years of tracking the migration from Georgia high schools to college.
