As Georgia Tech men's basketball coach Josh Pastner rolls through scouting reports on each scholarship player on this team, one thing continues to pop up: points.
The team has to be smart in its shot selection because there isn't a go-to scorer.
The second thing is the players need to give total effort in everything from rebounding, to avoiding turnovers, to taking good shots.
The margin of error for earning wins will be very small.
Over the next few days, I’ll post player-by-player scouting reports on the team as it prepares for its exhibition opener against Shorter on Nov. 5 at McCamish Pavilion.
The Yellow Jackets went 21-15 overall, 8-10 in the ACC under previous coach Brian Gregory.

Coach Josh Pastner's take: He plays hard. He has gotten better through different areas of the game. He's got to continue to improve his shooting. I would think for him, just understanding the not gambling, playing simple, sound and solid in the facets of the game. When he keeps it simple he's very, very effective.
