Georgia Tech computer rankings, bowl projections, after week 11
Georgia Tech's rankings and projection metrics jumped considerably after its upset win over then-No. 14 Virginia Tech. For instance, the Yellow Jackets' projected win total (7.1) was the highest it has been since week 3, following their win over Vanderbilt. Three bowl projections have Tech in the Military Bowl, which is Dec. 27 in Annapolis, Md. Among other things, it would be a return to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for Johnson and multiple members of his staff. The Military Bowl is an ACC-American Athletic Conference matchup. Temple and Houston are projected as two possible representatives from the AAC.
