A nightly lane closure is expected this week on Mount Vernon Highway as work continues on the new I-285/Ga. 400 interchange.

Weather permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation will close one right westbound lane on Mount Vernon Highway from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Barfield Road for utility relocation. The lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.  Monday night through Friday night. Exact dates may change because of weather and other factors.

Motorists should reduce their speed while traveling through this area and other work zones.
