If you thought your commute couldn't get worse, think again.

A rock blasting is expected to cause delays about 1 p.m. Tuesday for drivers on I-75 near Big Shanty Road in Cobb County, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The blast will take place northbound at the I-75/I-575 interchange and southbound at Wade Green Road.

A traffic pacing will take place during the construction.

GDOT advises motorists to drive with caution. Message boards will also remind drivers of the construction time.
