Bad news: There will be lots of construction-related lane closures that result in delays on metro Atlanta interstates.
Here are your trouble spots:
1-75
One southbound lane will close between South Marietta Parkway and Delk Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Two northbound lanes will close between Windy Hill Road and Delk Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. They will close again from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-575
Expect multiple lane closures near Barrett Parkway this weekend.
One northbound lane will close between Barrett Parkway and Bells Ferry Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic pace will take place between Barrett Parkway and Bells Ferry Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday. Drivers should expect speed limits between 5 mph and 10 mph so contractors can work across interstate lanes.
One southbound lane will close between Barrett Parkway and the I-75 interchange from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. The lane will close again from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close between Towne Lake and Ridgewalk parkways from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. The lane will close again from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-285
One westbound ramp will close between Powers Ferry Road and Cumberland Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
I-75
Up to two northbound lanes will close between Hampton and Jonesboro roads continuously from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
One southbound lane will close between Hudson Bridge and Jodeco/Flippen roads continuously from 9 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday.
Drivers can expect speed limits to be between 5 mph and 10 mph along McDonough Road as contractors work across interstate lanes from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday. One southbound lane will also close between Ga. 81 and Ga. 155 from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
One southbound lane will close between Lake Spivey Parkway and Hudson Bridge Road continuously from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close between the I-675 interchange and Lake Spivey Parkway continuously from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
On Hampton Road, one westbound lane will close at Willow Lane from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. The lane will close again from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
I-20
One westbound lane will close between the I-285 interchange and Fulton Industrial Boulevard from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday.
Two westbound lanes will close between the Downtown Connector interchange and Hamilton E. Holmes Drive continuously from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Three westbound lanes will close between McDaniel Street and Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
A partial closure will take place on the I-20 westbound ramps to Windsor Street and Langhorn Street from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday.
One eastbound lane will close between Riverside Drive and just after Thornton Road from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
One eastbound lane will close between the I-285 interchange and the Downtown Connector from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
The Thornton Road southbound entrance to I-20 eastbound will close from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. Traffic traveling on Thornton Road to I-20 eastbound will make a U-Turn and enter the Thornton Road northbound entrance to I-20 eastbound.
The I-20 eastbound entrance and exit ramp to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive will close from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday. Drivers exiting off I-20 eastbound to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive will exit at Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, turn right on Lowery Boulevard, turn right on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard and return to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Drivers entering I-20 eastbound from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive will take a detour to Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard, turn left, continue to Langhorn Street, turn left and enter I-20 eastbound on the Sells Avenue entrance ramp.
I-85
A rolling closure will take place between the Metropolitan Parkway southbound exit and the I-285 interchange nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. The closure starts Friday and ends Monday morning. Lane closures will also take place between the Langford Parkway northbound exit and the I-285 interchange.
Two northbound lanes will close between Riverdale Road and Virginia Avenue nightly from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
I-285
The Buford Highway on-ramp to I-285 southbound will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for concrete rehabilitation. A detour will be in place during the closure.
Drivers traveling southbound on Buford Highway to I-285 southbound will make a right on Motor Industrial Way and continue on Motor Industrial Way. Just before Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, take the loop ramp to I-285 southbound.
Drivers traveling northbound on Buford Highway to I-285 southbound will make a left on Motor Industrial Way, continue on Motor Industrial Way. Just before Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, take the loop ramp to I-285 southbound.
Two eastbound lanes will close between Moreland Avenue to Jonesboro Road from 9 p.m. Saturday to 12 p.m. Sunday.
Ga. 400
One northbound lane will close between Peachtree and MacFarland parkways continuously from 9 p.m. Friday until noon Monday.
Other state routes
On Clairmont Road, two lanes will close between North Decatur Road and Scott Boulevard from 6:45 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday for the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler. Two more lanes will also close on Scott Boulevard.
On Freedom Parkway, one lane will close at Boulevard nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closures start Friday night and end Monday morning.
On LaVista Road, one southbound lane will close between I-285 and Briarcliff Road from 8 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
On Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound lane will close between North Shallowford Road and Club Drive from 8 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday and from 8 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday.
