None of these should be too surprising, even with the U.S. Open Cup championship game on Tuesday against Minnesota at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Manager Frank de Boer on Wednesday said he think there are enough days for rest and recover and that he would field a strong lineup on Friday. The team can’t afford to drop points, especially with NYCFC defeating Columbus on Wednesday.
