It’s time for a new weekly feature: my favorite goals from MLS. Here we go:

The techniques by Wayne Rooney and Lucas Rodriguez of D.C. United make this a world-class goal. Rodriguez was reportedly of interest to Atlanta United a while ago.

The pass from Nicolas Lodeiro and Jordan Morris’ tenacity make this an outstanding goal.

Alexander Mitruta goes one-on-four and scores after a wonderful sequence of passes by NYCFC. Of course, when you play on a pitch the size of a basketball court, it’s easy to get up and down the field in just a few passes.

Kendall Waston scores Cincinnati’s first goal at Nippert Stadium with a smartly taken header that he puts into the ground, which is what is supposed to be done:
