MINNEAPOLIS -- Jeff Teague's injured left ankle -which put a scare in Hawks fans Sunday - will not cost the Hawks point guard any time.

Teague was in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Timberwolves, one day after suffering the injury against the Grizzlies. Teague briefly left the court in the final minutes of the loss to the Grizzlies, unable to put any weight on his left ankle after landing awkwardly following a layup.

Teague returned and finished the game.

Prior to Monday's game, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said Teague would warm up and that he was 'hopeful' he could play.

"Based on after the game and today, I think we are hopeful," Budenholzer said.

Muscala returns home

Mike Muscala returned home to Minnesota for Monday's game. The Hawks reserve center estimated that between 50 and 60 family and friends would be at the game. Unfortunately for those in attendance, they would have to settle for a post-game meet and greet with their native son. Muscala was inactive for the game along with the injured Thabo Sefolosha.
