INDIANAPOLIS -- Former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston met with the media on Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

"I know that I made mistakes," Winston said. "I know I have a past."

He talked about trying to earn the trust of all 32 NFL teams, the Glazer family in Tampa and coach Lovie Smith. He clearly wants to be selected No. 1overall.

Winston said he planned to throw with the quarterbacks on Saturday.
