MOBILE, Ala. – Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Ted Roof made his way to the Senior Bowl.

After the South’s practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Tuesday, he was talking to former Tech standouts Jeremiah Attaochu and Jemea Thomas on the field.

Thomas was a late addition to the Senior Bowl South roster.

“There was a high level of talent down there at the East-West Shrine game,” Thomas said. “The talent here is much better.”

Thomas played in 54 games at Georgia Tech, tying a school record.

“It’s been good,” Thomas said. “Day-in and day-out, going to meetings and trying to get everything down. I’ve been having a good time.”

Attaochu played defensive end and linebacker at Tech.

“I have to show them that I can do both,” Attaochu said.
