FLOWERY BRANCH – Gil Brandt, the Godfather of SiriusM NFL Radio, stated that former Georgia running back Todd Gurley is the sixth-best player in the NFL draft on the show last night.
The former personnel whiz for the old Dallas Cowboys empire is a big Gurley fan.
The Falcons have the eighth pick, but don’t appear ready to pull trigger on drafting him, in part because of the devaluation of running backs across the league.
However, the odds-makers at www.FootballBettingCenter.com have placed some odds on which team will select Gurley. I'm going with Miami in my final mock draft. The odds the Falcons select Gurley were set at 5-2.
