FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons safety William Moore, who's coming back from a shoulder injury, was activated to the 53-man roster on Friday.

The Falcons waived tackle Cameron Bradfield to make room for Moore.

Moore was placed on short-term injured reserve after suffering the injury against the Vikings on Sept. 28 and returned to practice last week. NFL rules stipulate he must miss a minimum of eight weeks before playing in games.

The Falcons drafted Moore, 29, in the second round of the 2009 draft out of Missouri and he’s been a starter since his second season. Last year the Falcons signed Moore to a five-year contract that included $14 million guaranteed.

Second-year safety Kemal Ishmael has started in place if Moore.
