Danna, Collins introduced as members of Jets' staff

FLOWERY BRANCH – Former Falcons assistant coaches Joe Danna and Mark Collins were introduced as members of the New York Jets' coaching staff on Friday.

Danna will serve as their defensive backs/safeties and Collins as the outside linebackers coach on the staff of new coach Todd Bowles.

Danna was with the Falcons from 2008-09 as a defensive assistant before joining Miami’s staff as a defensive backs coach for 2010-11. He was with the Falcons 2012-14 as assistant defensive back coach.

Collins was with the Falcons over the past five season as a defensive assistant and last season as the outside linebackers coach.

Also, offensive assistant Andrew Weidinger has left to join former coordinator Dirk Koetter in Tampa Bay.
