Travelers headed to areas that are affected by the Zika virus are for the most part sticking with their plans, according to a new survey of one firm's travel agents.

The survey released by travel firm Travel Leaders Group found that 74.1 percent of its travel agents reported none of their clients in their 20s and 30s are cancelling travel plans because of the Zika virus. Even higher percentages of travel agents said there were no cancellations for clients in their 40s, 50s and older. Travel Leaders said its agents make up nearly one-third of all travel agents.

"Even we were a bit surprised to learn just how limited the impact of the Zika virus has been on the overwhelming majority of our clients' travel plans," Travel Leaders Group CEO Ninan Chacko said in a written statement.

Delta said its customers concerned about the Zika virus who are booked to travel to affected areas should call customer service. Customers may qualify for a change in travel plans or a refund.
