U.S.-Japan aviation negotiations postponed

Feb 9, 2016

As Delta Air Lines pushes to preserve the strength of its Tokyo hub, U.S.-Japan aviation negotiations scheduled for this week have been postponed.

The talks had been scheduled for Feb. 9-10 but have been postponed to allow more time for analysis.

The two sides are discussing new dates to reschedule the negotiations.

Atlanta-based Delta has said the outcome the talks could threaten its ability to compete in Asia — and possibly affect its Atlanta-Tokyo flights.
