Delta Air Lines has brought out the big guns in its fight against Qatar Airways: Deltalina.

Flight attendant Katherine Lee became known as Deltalina after a cheeky in-flight safety video featuring her wagging finger cautioning passengers that "smoking is not allowed on any Delta flight."

In a new video responding to Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker calling U.S. airline flight attendants "grandmothers," Deltalina responds: "No, no no -- that is not allowed."

Other Delta flight attendants also respond with light-hearted rebukes:

"Bless his heart," says another flight attendant in the video.

'What about the grandfathers?" asks one male flight attendant.

The video also features some serious comments about the issue of a level playing field in bilateral aviation agreements, which underlies Al Baker's comments and Delta's response.

Qatar Airways launched flights to Atlanta from Doha last year, sparking disputes with Delta over a gate at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and over the Fox Theatre's decision to host a Qatar Airways launch party and private Jennifer Lopez concert.

Al Baker last week apologized for the comments, in which he said: "You know you're always being served by grandmothers on American carriers."
