It took all of one hour Friday morning for the commute to go sideways after two tractor-trailers crashed on the two busiest stretches of metro Atlanta’s interstate system.

At least two right lanes of traffic were getting by on the northbound Downtown Connector Friday morning as authorities worked to clear a wrecked tractor-trailer at North Avenue.
