Tyler Simmons, a 3-star receiver from McEachern, spent this past weekend taking in Georgia Tech’s game against Tulane.
Evidently, it was enough to impress the uncommitted prospect, who confirmed to the AJC on Wednesday that the Yellow Jackets are now in the running with UGA, Texas A&M and Alabama.
However, the 5-foot-11, 194-pounder maintains that he hasn’t yet decided on an official list of top schools.
Simmons is rated as the No. 47 player in Georgia.
