Chandler Tuitt (Charles Kingsbury/AJC)
The recruiting process has died down a bit for Chandler Tuitt after he committed to Ole Miss this summer.
But the 3-star offensive lineman from Sandy Creek High School says one SEC program in particular continues to recruit him.
“Not many schools are talking to me that much, except for Florida,” Tuitt said.
The 6-foot-3, 294-pound lineman, who committed to Ole Miss in July, says that he doesn’t know much about Florida in general. But he says he hasn’t ruled out a possible visit to the campus.
When will he decide on his official visits exactly? Tuitt is uncertain, but he says Ole Miss will be among the five.
Though he says he’s 100 percent committed to the Rebels, there is one surprise school he would like an offer from — Clemson.
Tuitt says he’s always had an affinity for the school since he was a kid. His brother wanted to play soccer there, but ended up going to Newberry College instead.
“It’s exciting there, I don’t know why,” Tuitt said. “The first time I went there when I was 10, it was fun there.”
