It's Friday, folks, and there is a lot to catch up on. A 5-star commit has plans to travel to Texas, a 3-star defensive back says he's "90-percent committed" to UGA and the nation's No. 1 tight end just announced four of his five official visits.
That’s a lot to take in.
In the meantime, though, check out some other important recruiting news happening in the state of Georgia and around the SEC. Enjoy.

Today’s need-to-know stories
1. Georgia DE to announce official visits
Upson Lee's David Marshall is close to setting his official visits, he announced through Twitter. He is weighing offers from Ole Miss, Auburn and Alabama, among others. Back in July, the ex-Auburn commit told the AJC that he would take official visits to Ole Miss (his presumed leader), Tennessee, Mississippi State and Louisville.
The 6-foot-2, 256-pounder ranked as the No. 23 strong-side defensive end in the country.
2. Georgia LB commits to ACC school
Robert Snyder may not have been ranked, but the Collins Hill linebacker secured a commitment to the Cavaliers on Thursday, he announced via Twitter. Snyder, who's evidently a braniac, held offers from 12 other programs, including Harvard and Yale.
Snyder is the third player from the state to commit to Virginia.
3. Alabama LB commit to take official visit to LSU
Jaquan Yulee committed to Alabama back in June, but that won't stop the 4-star linebacker from taking an official visit to LSU on Nov. 7, according to 247Sports.com's Hank South. While it's uncertain that the visit will influence his current commitment to the Tide, it is important to note that Alabama has endured a few setbacks in recent weeks, like when 4-star cornerback Shyheim Carter de-committed a few days ago.
4. Ex-Buckeye commit reels in Auburn offer
Terrell Hall is less than two weeks removed from de-committing from Ohio State, and the 6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive end is already a hot commodity. Not too long ago, he was looking for CV templates for Mac in hopes of being hired for a regular job. On Thursday, he received an offer from the Tigers.
5. Auburn Tiger returns after six-day absence
Gus Malzahn reinstated D'Haquille "Duke" Williams on Thursday, six days after the receiver was suspended for unspecified reasons. Talk about a sigh of relief for Auburn fans. Williams, who led the team in receptions and yards last year, will be critical in helping fill the void left behind by Sammie Coates.
6. Texas A&M defensive end broke freshman sack record with one hand
