Texas A&M will be without one of its prized recruits from its 2015 recruiting class when it begins pre-season camp drills on Monday.
Jay Bradford, a former 4-star running back, will not be a part of the program’s 105-man roster due to health reasons, per multiple reports. Head coach Kevin Sumlin addressed the media with a statement on the freshman’s status.
“The health and well-being of Jay is the only thing that matters,” Sumlin told reporters. “He is still part of our team but just unable to participate in preseason drills. Jay and his family know that they can depend on us through this process.”

This is the second time in the last four weeks that Sumlin has addressed Bradford's health.
