Laremy Tunsil, an offensive tackle for the Ole Miss Rebels and potential NFL first-rounder, had a domestic violence case between his stepfather and him dropped on Monday, according to
Both parties agreed to sign dismissal papers forms last week and drop the charges.
On June, 26, Tunsil was arrested after punching his stepfather, Lindsey Miller. Reports indicate that the altercation stemmed from Miller shoving Tunsil’s mother, but Miller claims that he was attacked as the result of an argument.
Tunsil, considered one of the nation’s top offensive lineman, has not made a habit of making headlines, but he did cause a stir on signing day in 2013.
The 5-star recruit chose to attend Ole Miss instead of UGA shortly before signing day, even though there were rumors that Tunsil had been secretly committed to the Bulldogs for months.
This last-second decision certainly left a bitter taste in the mouths UGA fans, made worse by Tunsil’s success in the SEC and his projection as a first-round pick whenever he decides to jump to the NFL.
