Blake Gillikin brought his big leg to Athens last week and earned a scholarship offer. He returned this week to visit the campus and meet Mark Richt with his family in tow. He did.
Now he’s set to make his decision.
He will choose between Georgia, Northwestern and Penn State.
The mainstream recruiting services (247sports, Rivals, Scout) don't really populate their national rankings when it comes to punters and kickers, but Gillikin is rated No. 4 nationally on Kohlskicking.com. Check out his profile page and synopsis here.
The skinny: KohlsKicking notes the ball jumps off his foot and was impressed but his steps and natural rhythm. It also touted his confidence and competitive streak who likes a big stage. Their evaluation is he’ll be one of the best punters in the 2016 signing class.
