The Sun Belt had just three players selected in last week’s NFL draft. It was the fewest number for the conference in the past four years.
Georgia State didn’t have a player selected, nor has it had any players sign as undrafted rookie free agents as of Monday afternoon.
The three from the Sun Belt who were picked were Texas State cornerback Craig Mager in the third round by San Diego, Texas State linebacker David Mayo in the fifth round by Carolina and Louisiana-Lafayette defensive end Christian Ringo in the sixth round by Green Bay.
A few players were signed as undrafted rookie free agents:

Louisiana-Monroe kicker Justin Manton by Baltimore;
Louisiana-Lafayette defensive lineman Justin Hamilton by Buffalo;
Louisiana-Lafayette running back Alonzo Harris by Green Bay;
Louisiana-Lafayette guard Dan Quave by Dallas;
South Alabama tight end Wes Saxton by the New York Jets;
South Alabama quarterback quarterback Brandon Bridge by Detroit;
Texas State punter Will Johnson by Houston;
Troy wide receiver Chandler Worthy by Houston;
