There’s a reason Alabama has been so successful the past four years.

NFL teams have drafted 30 players who played for Alabama since 2011, the most of any college program during that time.
LSU, with 29, was second, followed by Florida State (25) and Georgia (23), according to research by Coachingsearch.com.
There are five SEC teams among the top 15 programs, with Florida (18) and South Carolina (17) joining the group.
Alabama has had at least five players taken every year since 2010, but FSU leads the group for one year, with 11 players selected in the 2013 draft.
NFL.com's round-by-round mock draft projects seven Alabama players — including WR Amari Cooper and S Landon Collins in the first round — will be selected in this year's draft, which begins Thursday night.
FSU is projected to have 11 picks and Miami with seven, followed by several programs — including Georgia — with six.
In addition to Cooper and Collins, several other SEC and ACC players could be selected in the first round.
They include:

- La'el Collins (OL, LSU)
- Phillip Dorsett (WR, Miami)
- Bud Dupree (OLB, Kentucky)
- Ereck Flowers (OT, Miami)
- Dante Fowler Jr. (OLB, Florida)
- Eddie Goldman (DT, FSU)
- Todd Gurley (RB, UGA)
- D.J. Humphries (OT, Florida)
- Kevin Johnson (CB, Wake Forest)
- Cedric Ogbuehi (OT, Texas A&M)
- DeVante Parker (WR, Louisville)
Shane Ray (OLB, Missouri) also is projected as a first-round pick, but was cited for possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana earlier this week.
