Where will R.J. Hunter begin his professional basketball career?
A look at the various NBA mock drafts provide no clear picture where Hunter, the leading scorer in Georgia State’s history, may wind up.
Hunter is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard who declared for the NBA draft after a junior year in which the Panthers defended their Sun Belt regular season title, won the conference tournament and upset Baylor in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Less than two weeks later, Hunter decided to leave school. He is in Chicago working out and preparing for the Combine in May and the draft in June.

Obviously, if Hunter could land in Atlanta with the Hawks with the 15th pick, Ron and Amy Hunter would be very happy.
Going to Oklahoma City at 14, to play alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, wouldn’t be bad.
It seems most likely that the Los Angeles Lakers are the landing spot, based upon the frequency in the mock drafts.
