This probably doesn’t come as a surprise, given SEC’s football rapid following.
SEC coaches make up almost half of the most followed Twitter accounts for FBC coaches, with Tennessee's Butch Jones — @UTCoachJones — leading the way among the conference's coaches with 174,019 (as of March 3).
He's third in the nation, behind Ohio State's Urban Meyer — @OSUCoachMeyer — with 238,378 followers and Michigan's Jim Harbaugh — @CoachJim4UM — with 192,743.
Georgia's Mark Richt — @MarkRicht — is fourth with 160,696, followed by LSU's Les Miles — @LSUCoachMiles — with 159,144.
South Carolina's Steve Spurrier, who joined Twitter on Monday, already was 23rd on the list, with 44,403 followers

The only two SEC coaches not on the list are Alabama's Nick Saban, who doesn't have a Twitter account, and Vanderbilt's Derek Mason (@CoachDerekMason) who has 15,300 followers, which is about the attendance at one of the Commodores' home games.
Saban’s account would certainly become one of the nation’s most popular among coaches, should he ever join Twitter.
