The speedy receiver nicknamed “D1” has committed to UGA.
Darion Anderson, a 3-star receiver from Houston County High School, picked UGA over Cincinnati on Monday.
“When I went there for Junior Day, it felt like home,” Darion told the AJC. “It’s a place where I feel like I can play at.”

The Bulldogs now have seven commits for the 2016 recruiting class.
"(UGA) likes his ball skills, and that he's long," Houston County coach Von Lassiter told the AJC.
“You know, he’s not a 6-foot-4 guy or anything like that. But he’s a solid 6-foot or 6-1. He’s long. He has got long arms and he can bend well. He can run.
“When the ball is in the air, he’s going to get it. And when the ball is in his hands, he can do things with it, too. He can go.”
Darion and his twin brother, Darius, both play football at Houston County. They wear the No. 1 and No. 2 jerseys, respectively, and are nicknamed “D1” and “D2.”
Darion is rated as the state’s No. 36 overall prospect. This past season as a junior, he was named Region 2-AAAAA Player of the Year after catching 55 passes for 1,262 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also played defense, registering 62 total tackles.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder also reported other offers from Boston College, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Georgia Southern and Kennesaw State, among others.
