Atlanta was America’s last city to host summer Olympics.

The United States Olympic Committee has chosen Boston – over San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and two-time Olympic host Los Angeles – as its proposed host for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The pitch? An old city that is brand new to the Olympic movement.

To prove its point, the USOC used a video to highlight some of the great moments from past Olympics, including the last Summer Games to be on American soil, the 1996 Games in Atlanta.
