Everett Golson or Braxton Miller?
Both quarterbacks have been linked to LSU, which struggled offensively with both Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris at QB this fall, although it’s not known if either Ohio State’s Miller or Notre Dame’s Golson is transferring right now.
Miller was the Buckeyes’ star QB until he injured his right shoulder in the preseason and missed the entire season. J.T. Barrett took over until he was injured, giving way to Cardale Jones, who led them to a win over Alabama and a berth in Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game against Oregon.
Miller, Barrett and Jones can all return next year, but Miller, as a graduate student, can transfer and immediately play at a FBS school.
It's also been reported that Miller is interested in transferring to Florida State, Oregon and Duke.
Golson, who apparently has fallen out of favor with Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly after a slew of turnover-filled games at the end of the regular season, tweeted to not believe the rumors after NOLA.com reported that he had contacted LSU.
Golson, like Miller, could transfer and immediately be able to play for a FBS program next fall.
He helped the Irish defeat LSU in the Music City Bowl, but has lost his starting job to sophomore Malik Zaire.
