It really is November. Has been for a few days. It’s just that you can’t tell by the weather.
“It’s going to feel much more like early October than early November (on Saturday),” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
The temperature in Atlanta was at 77 shortly after 4 p.m., 1 degree over the forecast high of 76.
This comes after a high of 80 on Friday. That compares to the average high of 68 degrees for this date.
Some cities in Georgia, such as LaGrange, could hit 80 degrees or higher. Valdosta has a forecast high of 84.

“It’s warm,” Monahan said. “It’s springlike out there.”
Some rain likely will be felt in metro Atlanta. Showers from northeast Alabama will be moving into the metro area late this morning or this afternoon.
The chance of rain is at 40 percent Saturday but dropping to 20 percent Sunday, when the high again is expected at 76.
