Whatever your plans are for Easter weekend, weather in metro Atlanta should be ideal.
“We could not have ordered up a better Easter weekend across North Georgia,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said Saturday morning.

The temperature (67 degrees about 5:40 p.m.) is expected to reach a high of 70. And there’s no rain in the forecast for Saturday.
Sunday will bring more of the same. The 7 a.m. temperature should be around 50 for people who might be heading out to morning activities.
That is expected to turn into a high of 77, again with no rain expected.
“There will be some clouds across North Georgia on Sunday,” Monahan said. “That’ll be about it.”
Then, “the 80s are coming,” Monahan said. Monday and Tuesday should see highs of 80 and 82, respectively.

But beware of the pollen count for Saturday. It’s expected to hit 3,387, the highest figure since exactly a year ago, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.
The figure was at 2,928 Friday, which was the high for this season.
“If you’re an allergy sufferer,” Channel 2 meteorologist Katie Walls said, “bundle up.”
