The warm temperatures are sticking around, metro Atlanta, but rain is on the way for Sunday morning.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Katie Walls said the wet stuff will make an appearance late Saturday before “widespread rain” moves in by around 7 a.m. Sunday.

“No strong or severe storms,” Walls aid, “but a few rumbles of thunder cannot be ruled out.”

For the most part, precipitation should clear out around lunchtime, making way for high temperatures in the mid-70s. Monday is expected to have a low of 57 degrees, a high of 74 and a 30 percent chance of rain.

A high of 81 degrees is currently forecast for Tuesday.
