Rain showers are expected throughout the day and temperatures will top out in the 50s, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

“We’ll continue with waves of showers,” Monahan said.

Rain is expected to continue through Tuesday, but Monday’s high should be a bit warmer, in the 60s, Monahan said.

Temperatures were 50 degrees in Atlanta, 50 degrees in Calhoun and 60 degrees in LaGrange just before 4 p.m.
