Despite being the Atlanta Braves' final season competing at Turner Field, there are still plenty of reasons to schedule a weekend road series to see other ballparks.

Aside from spending Father's Day in the Big Apple, this road series offers another opportunity to double up sporting events in one weekend. The Copa America Centenario quarterfinal match will pair two of the Western Hemisphere's best soccer teams against each other in a win-or-go-home battle.

July 22-24 at Colorado Rockies
This series takes place the same weekend as the inaugural Tattoo Masquerade, Denver's tattoo convention and art expo. More than 140 tattoo vendors and live art booths highlight the three-day event, which also includes tattoo competitions and performance art.

Aug. 5-7 at St. Louis Cardinals
An official pre-game party occurs before each St. Louis Cardinals home contest at the newly constructed Ballpark Village. Located next to Busch Stadium, the venue offers fans a baseball-rich experience that extends during and after each game. And of course, set aside extra time to trek to the top of The Gateway Arch at the foot of the Mississippi River.

Use a road trip to the nation's capital to see one of the newest Washington, D.C., monuments, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Also, tour the National Mall where King once marched during the height of the civil rights movement. Additionally, the Newseum, located between the White House and U.S. Capitol, chronicles the news stories that helped shape modern America.

Sept. 2-4 at Philadelphia Phillies
The Braves return to the City of Brotherly Love in time for another major event during a major holiday weekend. The lineup is yet to be announced for the 2016 Made In America Festival, which last Labor Day weekend included main acts Beyonce, Death Cab for Cutie and The Weeknd.
